GILBERTSON, John Banks (JBG).
Born in Leith, Scotland 19.12.1938, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Loving husband of Nancy, beloved father of five children and grandfather of eleven. An understated man with great musical talent, business acumen, wit, and deep faith. In lieu of floral tributes, donations can be made to The Society of St Vincent de Paul online at www.svdp.org.nz or at John’s service.
A celebration of John’s life will be held in St Mary’s Catholic Church, 58 Osier Road, Greenmeadows on Friday, December 8 at 11.00am. Messages to the Gilbertson Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.
