WIIG, Raymond (Ray).

Passed away peacefully on 6 July 2025, aged 77 years.

Son of Ernie and Edna Wiig (both deceased). Loving partner to Noeline. Loving father to Damon, Ben and Jared and loving Grandad to Calum, Sam, Rosie, Amber, Nate, Ashlyn and Isaac. Poppa Ray to Amy, Caleb, Lucy, William, Lara and Daniel. Special brother of Ernie, Chris and Paul.

We will miss your infectious laughter and great sense of humour.

A celebration of Ray’s life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier on Friday, 11 July at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Motor Neurone Disease New Zealand would be gratefully accepted and can be left at the service.
