BURTON, Josephine Kona (Gossy).

Gossy passed away peacefully on Monday, 15 September 2025, surrounded by family.

Loved and respected mother figure to Hilary and Joshua. Beloved Nan of Grace, Andrew, Haylyn, Mylee, Olivia and Theo. Adored sister of Nooky, Althea, and Colleen, and a loved aunty and great aunty to all her nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the caring Cranford Hospice nurses for their kindness and compassion.

Gossy will be resting at 5 Te Awa Avenue, Napier, until the celebration of her life which will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier on Thursday, 18 September at 10.30am. Messages to the Burton Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.
