Adrienne Mawete Singh

SINGH, Adrienne Mawete (nee Tawaka/Gillies).

Adrienne passed away peacefully on Friday, 23 October 2026 aged 79 years.

Devoted wife of Kishor. Daughter of the late Ewen Troutbeck Gillies and Kataraina Mete Kingi Tawaka. Treasured taonga Mum of Reena, Nanka, Raveena, Kishor, Natasha, and Kasey. Loving Nan, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of all her moko.

A celebration of Adrienne’s life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, cnr Maraekakaho and Orchard Roads, Hastings on Tuesday, 27 October at 11.30am, followed by private cremation. Messages to the Singh Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.
