LIE, Odd Arvid (Otto)

Of Haumoana, passed away peacefully on September 28 2023, aged 90. Dearly loved husband of the late Vivienne Lie (nee Trotter).  Much loved Dad of Kristen and Inessa, Steffen, and Nicole. Cherished Grandpop to Mia, Daniel, Annika, and Jamie.  Treasured older brother of Kjell and Sigrun. A proud Norwegian who loved life in NZ. A long-standing member of the Haumoana community, the Napier branch of the NZ Deerstalkers Association, and the Whakatu Freezing Works.

A service to celebrate Odd’s life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier on Saturday, October 7 at 11.00am. Followed by refreshments at the Napier Deerstalking Club, 29 Thorn Place, Onekawa, Napier. Friends and family are warmly invited. Messages to the Lie Family, c/- PO Box 439, Napier 4140.
